About Mark
I am a FUN and FOCUSED facilitator of learning for talented young minds wanting to achieve new levels of insight. By the grace of God and gifting, I achieved a perfect score on the ACT, SAT, and GRE Math sections. 7 of my ACT students scored 35-36's in past 3 years alone! I frequently work with students who have already attended small group classes of brand-name test prep companies, but whose improvements have plateaued. I am grateful to have the honor of taking them to the next level. My laser-focused, custom, 1-on-1 tutoring produces average score increases for motivated ACT students of 5+ pts in Math & Science and 7+ pts in English. Dedicated SAT students generally have seen improvements of 150+ points after just 5 sessions!
Though I've specialized in ACT/SAT Test Prep for the past 7 years and had the privilege of coaching students from coast to coast (Dallas, D.C., L.A., San Diego, N.Y.C., Phoenix, Boston, etc), I also provide Math & Science academic tutoring, with students ranging from 3rd grade Math Olympiad competitors all the way to AP/IB Chemistry and Physics students.
My goal is to move my students past surface knowledge to deep understanding and mastery of subjects. I also believe each person has a specially designed PURPOSE, and I seek to motivate their journey to discovering it!
