About Sebastian
I am a Civil Engineer who graduated form Cal Poly SLO in California, I love teaching students the fundamentals of math and physics. I have seen my ability to apply mathematical and physical concepts to real world situations has greatly helped my students learn and have a deeper understanding.
I love working with students from all types of backgrounds, and finding ways to present material to them in a way thats uniquely interesting for them is always exciting!
I was a physics tutor in college to other students and continued tutoring highschool students when I returned back home to Los Angeles.
I also have lots of informal teaching expirience with children being the go-to guy for my nieces, nephews, and cousins! I am also currently living with a first-grade teacher and have access to all the typical resources that would be found in a classroom! (e.g. math blocks)

It was very helpful in getting around confusion and straight to the key concepts. The learning environment was made flexible, productive, and maintained a high level of energy.
My tutor understood and adapted to my learning style which lead to a significant improvement in my test taking and overall grade.
Very patient and taught physics topics well. Broke down basics and used different analogies for further understanding. Had a strong understanding of the topics and made learning easy and fun. Was flexible with time. I would highly recommend.
Sebastian is really attentive and made learning physics fun. Would recommend him to anybody else struggling in this subject.

I tutor at $30-50/hr. The price is negotiable on a case by case basis, usually dependant on amount of time spent with the student per week. Depending on the financial situation of the family, especially during these times, I am also willing to negotiate prices further.
