About Bennett
Welcome to Shar(e) Math Tutoring! My name is Bennett Sharabani, and I am excited to work with each of you and develop your skills in Mathematics and Problem-Solving Skills, skills that are needed in everyday life. I graduated from CUNY Queens College with a Master's Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education. Some of my past experience includes working as a Mathematics instuctor at the Mathnasium of Syosset-Jericho and substitute teaching for all grades across Lond Island, NY. I am currently a Math teacher, working for the New York City Department of Education. I have experience tutoring students of all grades and focus on tailoring topics to a student's specific needs as well as applying math skills to everyday life.
I enjoy watching my students grow over many years and shaping them into the people they are today. Mathematical reasoning and problem-solving are two of the most important skills I teach.
I always knew I wanted to use my skills in Mathematics and problem-solving to make a difference in students' lives. I started out as a substitute teacher for two years. I also worked as a Mathematics instructor at Mathnasium for two years. During these two years, I realized how important teaching was to me and how much students need teachers.
I worked as a Mathematics Instructor at Mathnasium of Syosset-Jericho. I am currently a Mathematics Teacher in the NYC Department of Education.
