About Meaghan
I am a Civil Engineering major and mathmatics minor at CSUS. I have previously privately tutored children from the ages of 8 to 16, and I have worked for 3 years at an after school program where I help students between 1st and 7th grade with homework. So I am experienced with common core. I have a goal of not being needed anymore; if a student doesn't need to be tutored after a couple months, then I've done my job.
I love seeing the lightbulb in a student's eyes when a concept they had struggled with suddenly makes sense. I also just genuinely enjoy school age children and the way they process things, it makes me think outside of the box. I believe the best way to teach/ tutor is if both parties are learning and growing.
