About Alexa
When I was a kid, I struggled with math. I could not understand the concepts and apply them. I was eventually diagnosed with a learning disability, but I did not want that to get in the way of succeeding in my studies and my life. In 6th grade, I met a teacher and mentor who changed my life. She broke down each problem and made them easier to read and therefore - solve. By applying the skills of that teacher, I was able to improve my skills, taking 2 math classes at once in high school, and testing out of required mathematics courses in college. After majoring in Finance in college, I secured a role in sales where those problem solving skills are prevalent everyday. I am confident that my skills and lessons will not only help your child succeed, but it will build confidence for long term success.
