About MICHELLE
I'm a two time Teacher of the Year nominee for Minnesota. I've been teaching for 11 years in Minnesota and Wisconsin and I have been working with children since I was 16. I am an energetic and enthusiastic educator who looks for the fun in lessons and works to meet your learning needs.
I have been working at summer camps since I was 16 and then after becoming a Camp Director for three years and missing working with just students, I left and continued my passion in a school system.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Winona State University and I am currently licensed for K-8 Elementary Education and Middle School Communication Arts and Literature through the Minnesota teacher licensure program.

Michelle has the amazing knack of being able to relate to kids of all ages and is a whiz at creating fun within a child’s individual learning style. Two of my daughters had her as a teacher and to this day, say she’s the best teacher they have ever had!
