About Alexandra

I am compassionate about teaching.

I enjoy teaching people new things.

I started tutoring other students when I was in middle school and even more when I was in high school.

I am a high school graduate. When I was in high school, my sophomore year I tested out of math.

About the lesson

I ask them what specificaly they need help with.

I ask them what they understand with that subject.

I make a plan and ask if the student is ok with the plan.

We proceed until the student is comfortable with what they learned and believe that they have an understanding of the subject.

I've worked with students that had no understanding of the subject, a little understanding of the subject and students that just wanted to review what they knew.

Do a pre-interview first just so you are not wasting your time with someone who you think can help you but knows about the same as you.

My recent event that I am fond of is all the schooling online because I always found that tutoring online is an easier way for me to connect with my students.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
How can this person help me?

What do I understand about this subject?
