About Sienna
I began tutoring math in my sophomore year of high school. I am up to date on all recent updates to curriculum within the subject, having a fresh eye to the lessons. Currently I am a sophomore at Arizona State University majoring in business management and minoring in mathematics.
Tutoring from ages six to 19 always results in the same level of joy. I truly enjoy seeing those that I tutor succeed in their classes. Math has always been my passion and I hope to pass that passion to each student I help in their educational journey.
I began tutoring my friends in their math classes as a friendly gesture. This soon led to tutoring a close family friend in math, which truly was an opening to tutoring even more.
I am a sophomore college student minoring in mathematics at Arizona State University. I have also been tutoring in math since 2016.

To begin, I like to get an understanding of the lessons they are currently learning and their concept of basic math skills. Along with this, I try to understand their current relationship with the subject to see how we can get their experience to become more enjoyable.
I have worked within an elementary school teaching basic addition, to middle and high school math, all the way to college algebra, pre-calculus, and calculus.
As a student, the goal is to learn. With the intention of learning and becoming stronger in math, a positive attitude is important. Not everyone loves math, however math teaches critical thinking which is valuable in everyday life and future careers.
