About Leslie

Over 20 years of teaching/tutoring experience in most academic areas including elementary and middle school math, language arts, content area subjects, reading for struggling readers ( Orton-Gillingham type reading), writing, and study skills. Give students the support they need to know they can achieve academically.

What I enjoy most about what I do is seeing my students be successful at something they have struggled with in the past. I love the smiles that adorn their faces, the laughs that they express, and the confidence they begin to show in their academic ability. I want each and every student to not utter “I think” or “ “I can’t” but to say with pride “I Know I Can” thus the name of my services.

About the lesson

Perfect! Leslie has truly been a blessing for our family. Our daughter had been facing difficulties in math for a while, and despite our best efforts, we were unable to assist her with her schoolwork. We decided to enlist Leslie's services, and we have not looked back since.

Not only has Leslie been able to effectively teach our daughter, but she has also gone above and beyond to provide extra support leading up to state mandated testing. Thanks to Leslie's dedication, our daughter was able to achieve the highest grade in her school and perform at her best. We are incredibly grateful for all that Leslie has done for our family.

Thanks so much Brandon for your kind words. Working with your daughter has been such a joyful experience. I cannot wait until this fall to work with her again, even if it’s several states away. What an incredible thing online tutoring is!

Perfect! We have really appreciated Leslie's enthusiasm for teaching. She has helped our son progress in Singapore math and goes above and beyond to make sure the skills needed are understood. My son enjoyed working with Leslie and we highly recommend her for tutoring.
