About Luz
Due to my innate patience, I have the ability to explain one thing many ways. There will be no frustration and I will find a method to make sure you child understands any subject.
As the daughter of an ex-Montessori preschool teacher, I understand the needs of children and how to hold their attention, win their approval, and help them learn through methods that will work for their developing minds.
I have also worked as an au pair in Rome, Italy where I helped with English as well as day to day elementary school work.
The feeling of accomplishment when I see a child truly grasp a concept and understand it thoroughly, not just copying from an example. It is always rewarding to see kids develop their own thought process and work through problems with methods I've helped them create.
Throughout high school, I had many teachers that inspired me to truly learn and I have developed that same passion to teach.
