About Sonali

I am a college junior studying Political Communication at Emerson College in Boston with a passion and expertise in English, History, and Math. I am a published writer and journalist with additional experience in statistics and high school level maths. When it comes to learning, I work to help students learn in ways that are tailored to them and their learning preferences. As someone with a learning disability myself, I have worked tirelessly to get where I am today through trial and error. Thus, I have gained a deeper understanding of different teaching strategies used for students regardless of their learning ability. I hope to work with you or your child to improve their English or Math skills! I love to help others learn! Knowledge is power, and it is also a privilege. If you are a low-income family I will tutor your child for free! I truly believe that education can change the world, but there is so much systemic change that needs to be made in this education system in order to help make it so that those in lower-income communities have the same opportunities as those who are born in higher places. That is why I enjoy tutoring- it helps to educate, and education opens up a world of possibilities.
