About Jean-Luc
My name is Panda Hirabayashi and I am a professional writer, Reiki Master, meditation Instructor, Mindset Coach, and yoga teacher.
I currently offer curated/personalized guided meditations, mindfulness training, Hatha and Vinyasa yoga instruction, Reiki healing sessions, Reiki instruction, writing services, and miscellaneous consultations. It is my sincere hope to spread love, joy, and positivity with every action I take, whether it is in my personal or business life.
I became attuned to Reiki III (Master/Instructor) in November 2017 through Caring Palms Massage and Reiki School (I completed Levels I and II in August 2017). Not long after completing level III, I started up The Reiki Panda. In addition to this wonderful energy modality, I completed Transformation Meditation teacher training in February 2018.
I am very excited to offer these gifts to anyone who is willing to learn. I know they have totally changed my life, and I would be excited to give these tools to others.
It might be a little cliche to say everything, but everything! I love gifting my students tools to help them with their stress and everyday problems. I know how much reiki, yoga, and meditation have helped me and it's an honor to be able to give these mindfulness techniques to others.
Early in my life, I dealt with a lot of stress, anger, anxiety, and depression. I was placed on medication that made my conditions worse, so I decided to set out on my own to find holistic/natural methods to help alleviate my symptoms.
Meditation was one of the first practices I discovered and it made such an immediate difference in my life, I knew I would be teaching the practice to others at some point. As they say- the rest is history!
This is actually one of my favorite stories, but it is very personal. In 2017, I was charged with a DUI and spent 11 days in jail. While locked up, I dove deeply into my meditation practice. I had nothing else to do besides sleep, and I got to the point where I could sit peacefully amongst the noise for hours at a time. By the end of my stay, fellow inmates were asking me to teach them. This gave me a flash of realization that teaching and giving back is what I was supposed to be doing, not drinking and partying all the time. I came to the conclusion that getting locked up was necessary- I needed that pause in order to come to peace with my purpose. I stopped drinking after my release and set to turning my life around. I started studying for my meditation and Reiki certifications almost immediately upon returning home.
I have completed my Transformation Meditation Teacher Course, 200 hour mystical yoga teacher training, and Reiki Levels I-III.

My process for working with a new student is entirely dependent on their experience level with mindfulness and meditation. If my student has never meditated or knows nothing about it, I will start from the ground floor by answering any questions they may have about the practice. Regardless of the experience level of the student, the first session will usually consist of of some relfective journaling and a guided meditation.
I have worked with students from all walks of life and levels of experience. My students have included veterans, civilians, business leaders, professionals, current/former inmates, college students, and I'm willing to work with everyone and anyone.

My standard rate for an hour-long private lesson is $100.
However, I can work with different budgets on a sliding scale. If you feel as if you can't afford my services, but you are very interested in learning, we can discuss a payment option or energy exchange. The last thing I want to do is exclude anyone from being able to utilize any of these life-changing practices.
