About Noa
Hey everyone :) I am 21 years-old, currently studying a science-based degree at the University of Birmingham (one of the top 100 Unis in the world). I take tutoring very seriously and consider it a job beyond the lessons. I strive to be able to help my students reach true academic excellence; whether that means helping with quick questions via text message outside of lessons or having more frequent lessons when exams may be approaching. I am patient, organised and effective at explaining difficult concepts. I am also extremely passionate about what I teach and would love to be able to share this passion to inspire my students. My favourite type of Science is Biology particularly the human side, which is why I am studying a BSc in psychobiology currently. When I need me time I often paint, play my guitar and cook.

I have had a lot of experience with online tutoring in science, helping various students in the last 4 years. I offer help for any secondary-school student either studying in Ks3 or GCSEs. I can teach the AQA or Edexcel exam board for single, double or triple science. I heavily cater my lessons towards the needs of my student for example by helping them with homework or specific school help, revision and A-level tips. My technique is to split an hour lesson into 2 parts. The first half usually consists of information, through visual aids, such as PowerPoints, in order to learn core content from the student's exact specification. This is then followed by exam-style practice questions to test their knowledge. At the end of each lesson I will send them off with some optional homework, practice questions and revision notes. I was awarded 3A* in my A-levels (in biology, psychology and art) in 2021 so I feel I have a lot of advice to offer! I was also awarded three 9s in triple science GCSE.

Noa has been my tutor for number of years now. She’s helped me way more than the school teachers. She is very caring. She explains topics really well and is really good at sending through papers to work on during the week.
Noa prepares her lessons really well. Noa is also funny and we have a laugh together.
From ConradI learn more with Noa in one hour than I learn over a course of 4 school lessons at school. she explains really complicated topics easily and send me follow up questions to help my revision. I’ve been doing so well in science in year 8 and it’s all due to Noa. I don’t know where I’d be without her. Her preparation for each lesson is really thorough.
I’m currently studying with Noa in University and she has helped me get to where I am today. She was so accommodating, understanding and could adapt to my needs whenever I needed help or a lesson. She’s very supportive and lovely to work with.
I have known Noa for more than 10 years. I find her passion for learning and teaching psychology to be truly infectious and have been impressed at how she is able to explain difficult psychological concepts in a clear but advanced way. She has tutored in other subjects in the past and I've witnessed her brilliant organisational and planning skills, her creativity in her ways of teaching, her patience, and her very effective methods of communication. She takes real pride in her students and goes way above and beyond to support and encourage them. I would highly recommend her.
