Mike Orme goes above and beyond with his piano lessons and teaching online! Four weeks into our lessons and our daughter has already learned so much and is able to play the piano! Mr. Orme is a wonderful music teacher for the family and extended families. My own three children and my sister’s two children are his many students. He has been and is still teaching my youngest child to this present day for about almost 10yrs. The rest have graduated and have gone off to college. Even through covid and pandemic my youngest continues to have lessons online via Skype. My child is still playing very well and is doing a great job. Music pieces have gotten more elaborated and sophisticated throughout the years. It is wonderful to see the advances and the level of skills he have acquired. From beginning piano of simple notes to classical Beethoven and some Jazz. As a mother I am very proud of my children achievements. I absolutely love and appreciate Mr. Orme for his love of music, teaching, and dedication to all his students learning. My sister’s one child did got a chance to advanced and performed at Carnegie Hall. We all love and appreciate Mr. Orme for his dedication to teaching. My son is a music major in college and Mr. Orme has been a huge help to him for the past 4 years. Mr. Orme was able to help him in a variety of ways. He helped my son become proficient on the clarinet which was a new instrument for him to play. Mr. Orme was able to help with music theory class. My daughter had piano lessons in both traditional setting before covid and through virtual learning. He is a great knowledgeable instructor in both settings. My daughter was able to progress at her pace, with great encouragement and instruction. She was able to learn with demonstration, exercises to help recognize music notes on paper and keyboard, and participating in song selections to make it fun! He even helped compose easier version of a song my daughter wanted to play that matched her beginner level. With the virtual learning set up, he had various cameras set up to view keyboard, music, and ease communication during lesson. Great instructor and person, would definitely recommend!

Mike is a wonderful music teacher. He seeks to take every student to their highest capability and he is able to start with each student at any level,any age. Mike Orme is a fantastic music teacher. I have 2 children who go to him for lessons, one for piano and one for guitar. They have both made huge improvements since they started with him, and both feel very comfortable with him as their teacher (they are 8 and 7, a boy and a girl). He is very knowledgeable about music and several different instruments and genuinely loves music and teaching. You can just tell. He teaches very good technique and always wants to ensure they learn proper form from the start. He’s also interested in their lives and asks about their interests. He explains things to them in ways they can understand too. They enjoy having him as their teacher and I think he is fantastic as well. I actually had another parent recommend him to me and I would highly recommend him as well. He’s awesome. All thumbs up.

Mr. Orme is a very passionate piano teacher. My child has been recieving lessons going on four years now. He really gets to know your learning style and will personalized teaching to fit your learning style. He is patient and really cares about you getting the most from your lesson, not to mention he keeps it fun! He has been a strong influence in my childs overall musical growth as well as her growth in confidence and commitment. He has maintained excellent communication with me on the progress my child has made as well as any areas needing more improvement.
