Experienced tutor in Piano in Guilford, Kris offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

Kris is an amazing musicain! He is able to teach the foundations to establish a solid basis for any future musical study. My child is very passionate about piano and I have no doubt Kris has inspired them.

Kris is really patient. He worked with me starting piano lessons again after twenty years and made me feel at ease very quickly. I hated piano lessons as a kid and quit because it was so boring, but Kris keeps his lessons really engaging. The program he uses for virtual lessons is really helpful. He helped me understand music theory better and more easily than any other teacher. He's extremely knowledgable, passionate about music and he's also really talented. (Look him up on YouTube.) I recommend him to everyone, from beginner to advanced.

Kris encourages his students to bring in music that the student wants to learn, rather than giving his students a lesson book of the music the teacher wants the student to learn. This keeps students motivated and engaged in diving into their lessons. And, Kris is such an excellent musician, that ANY music brought in is fair game to learn. In addition to learning the selected music, Kris encourages students to improvise all of the time- including trying out other instruments.
