About Laura
I have 25 years of experience working with kids, elite teen athletes, seniors, and everything in between. I've trained people with severe health considerations including progressive MS, Parkinson's, and amputation. I've helped dozens of people in the 40+ age group regain what they once had but lost.
I truly put the personal in personal training - I never use the same template or program for my clients because no two clients have ever had the same challenges, needs or goals!
I love every success my clients experience ("I can see my abs!") but what I love the most is that moment it clicks that everything they do is easier! They feel better, sleep better, and feel like they've regained their health!
I love getting to know my clients and what motivates them, discourages them, what makes them happier and what makes them frustrated. I'm a keen observer and a dedicated coach - I do whatever it takes to find the magic sauce that is each client's ideal program!
I began my fitness career in 1990 at Bally Total Fitness in Madison, Wisconsin, when one day on a whim I walked in, asked for a job, and they hired me. It must’ve been the scrunch socks, shiny leggings and thong leotard. (Oh yes I did.)

Your initial consultation is free. That can be conducted by phone or in person, and I will gather information about your current health & fitness, your goals, your interests, what interferes with your desire to exercise, and so on. We'll get to know each other to be sure we're a good fit. If it's a go, we'll do a fit test and I'll gather additional benchmark information I'll use to design your program!
I’ve taught hundreds (thousands?) of group classes, coached volleyball and track, trained 1-on-1 in gyms, homes and online, supervised a team of trainers, trained teen athletes, consulted for nationally-ranked power tumblers and elite track teams, and filmed over 100 workout videos.
I've worked with clients young and old and with a variety of health challenges including Progressive Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, Cardio Tachycardia, and amputation.

Laura's workouts are customizable for any fitness level. I have secondary progressive MS and through Laura's workouts I have gone from using a cane to running a half marathons. After even more MS issues, I'm still going and distance biking, 20, 30.. up to 70 miles a day.
