I’d always wanted to take voice lessons but never felt comfortable enough to do so, even after studying music in college and playing most of my life. I took a chance after reading a lot of wonderful reviews and Laura really is quite amazing! She made me feel comfortable almost immediately and she has an incredible ear for picking up on the subtle, and not so subtle, areas for improvement. I’ve never had anyone explain the physical mechanics of what’s required to sing properly in such an illuminating way. She’s super patient and has a genuine interest in helping you meet your goals. Laura not only makes the learning fun, but she has so many ways of teaching the same idea. If a person does not understand something, Laura finds other ways to help you understand. And...she is so patient.! There are many people who sing beautifully (as does Laura) but they cannot teach it. Laura does both wonderfully. She has helped me find my voice and gain confidence in singing. I highly recommend her to anyone who is a beginner or is professional. She has the best ear for critiquing and fine tuning vocals.

Laura is an excellent teacher! In my experience, she adopts her approach based on the goals and desires of her students, to best help them. She is empathetic and intuitive, and has a great sense of humor. She gave me many useful tips and helped me better understand the voice as an instrument.
