About Monica
The most excited part of teaching is when you can apply what you learn outside so you understand how useful the language is and how you can use it to communicate effectively.
Languages and culture is what I am the second thing I'm most passionate about after travelling. I have taught languages for over 15 years now including English, basic French and Spanish. I have taught at every level from PK to 12 both in Colombia and in the US and I have also worked with adults. I got my Masters Degree in TESOL (Teaching English) at Greensboro College.

Knowing my students make real progress and are motivated is what I enjoy the most when I'm guiding them. My classes are all about you, I am just there helping you and practicing along so you can get better.

She was an amazing teacher who helped with everything that I needed help with! Always had a great day in her class and would definitely take it again!
I had her for both semesters my senior year of high school. She was so fun and truly cared about her students! Loved having Mrs. Salgado as a teacher!
Monica Salgas also known as Mrs.Salgado is literally the best teacher ever. I came to this country about 7 years ago and she taught me how to speak english. She’s very nice, humble, funny, such a great friend. I can say that she is AMAZING such a great listener and great friend. I was very blessed to have her as my ESL teacher for at least 3-4 years.FAVORITE TEACHER OF ALL TIMES!!❤️❤️
