About Zara
I am a passionate singing tutor with over six years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Voice. I love helping students build vocal confidence and overcome performance anxiety. Connecting emotionally with songs is at the heart of my lessons. I teach styles including Pop, Indie, R&B, and Contemporary Worship. My lessons focus on breath control, expressive phrasing, vocal health, and live performance skills. I tailor each session to suit the student’s goals and personality. I enjoy guiding shy beginners, teen performers, and aspiring recording artists alike. I believe every voice has a story to tell. Lessons combine technique, creativity, and performance practice. Mistakes are seen as part of growth. My goal is to help students feel comfortable, confident, and expressive in their singing. Together, we explore your unique voice and make the journey of musical self-expression enjoyable and inspiring.

My singing methodology focuses on helping each student discover their unique vocal identity while growing creatively. I guide learners in shaping their vocal tone, improving control, and exploring range. Song interpretation and storytelling are key parts of every lesson. For adult beginners, I emphasise building strong foundations, confidence, and comfort with their own voice. Advanced teens focus on refining technique, expressive phrasing, and stage presence. Both personas benefit from exploring different genres, which encourages versatility and creativity. Improvisation exercises help students think musically and develop originality. I use tools like lyric analysis sheets and vocal journals to deepen understanding and reflection. Melody trainers and DAWs are integrated to practise pitch, rhythm, and arrangement skills. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals and learning style. Mistakes are embraced as steps toward growth. I focus on making learning engaging, practical, and inspiring. My ultimate aim is to help students express themselves fully and confidently through music.
