Experienced tutor in Violin in Denton, Robert offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

Robert is very patient and insightful. He taught lessons with a high degree of professionalism and care.

Robert is a very thorough teacher. Other than being an amazing teacher, he helps pick up those small fine tuning skills to make the song sound perfect. He teaches with a lot of patience and caters the instruction to meet the students' needs. I was an adult student without much skills in viola and I had a great time learning from him.

As an adult beginning music student, my needs are probably a lot different than your average school-aged kid's. I have a lot of questions that start with "why", and I am genuinely interested in music theory. Robert combined practical lessons and skill exercises with a sprinkling of historical context, theoretical concepts and humor. He pulled practice material from many sources so I could build basic technical skills as well as an overall musicality.

I took lessons from Robert as an adult student for about 2 years, and couldn't have been more impressed. Robert is not only an excellent musician, but also a dedicated teacher. He is curious about the process, techniques, and various approaches to teaching. This makes him a really excellent instructor as he draws from a deep well of knowledge to help students improve by applying targeted solutions to individual challenges. And, if one attempted solutions don't work, he always has another recommendation to try.
