About Sonia
With over a decade of experience in the legal field and fifteen years as a dedicated tutor, I bring both professional expertise and a genuine passion for education to every student I work with. Having studied law and spent ten years working in a corporate legal role in the heart of London, I developed strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills — all of which I now channel into my teaching. What began as a side role tutoring students online and in person quickly grew into one of my greatest passions. Over the years, I have had the privilege of helping students from diverse backgrounds build confidence, improve academically, and reach goals they once thought were out of reach. I take pride in tailoring my approach to each individual, ensuring that every lesson is engaging, productive, and suited to the student’s unique learning style. I believe that great tutoring is not just about improving grades — it’s about inspiring curiosity, encouraging self-belief, and unlocking potential. My aim as a tutor is always to see the best in every student, helping them discover their strengths and empowering them to achieve beyond expectations. Combining my legal background with years of teaching experience, I bring structure, patience, and enthusiasm to every session. Above all, I am passionate about making a real difference in students’ lives, and I find immense reward in watching their skills and confidence grow over time.

My teaching style is structured yet flexible, designed to cater to the individual needs of each student. I take time to understand every learner’s strengths, challenges, and goals, tailoring my approach to help them progress with confidence. Lessons are engaging, interactive, and enjoyable — I believe that when students feel comfortable and supported, they are more motivated to learn and perform at their best.
I place strong emphasis on practice and application, regularly incorporating exam-style questions and exercises to build confidence and familiarity with test formats. Equally important is creating a space where students feel encouraged to ask questions, express their thoughts, and share their learning goals openly. This two-way communication allows me to continuously adapt my methods and ensure that every session moves the student closer to their full potential.
