About Mehran
Albert Einstein once said about teaching: ' If you can't explain it in simple terms it means you haven't properly understood it yourself ' . Clearly, understanding the basics of any subject is the key to becoming comfortable with it and then becoming able to grasp the subject at more advanced levels. I apply that idea to my teaching methods and am always happy when my students tell me it has helped them to understand various concepts clearly.

My name is Mehran. I teach ONLINE, typically 1 or 2 hour lessons, and I`d be very happy to help you through your studies in Maths and Chemistry.
I have a PhD in Chemistry from The University of Sussex and a degree in maths heavy Chemical Engineering. Over the years I`ve taught Maths, Chemistry, Mechanics and Statistics to pupils of all ages and abilities from 11 to 18 (so KS3, 4 and 5 including GCSEs and A-Levels), and Chemistry and Maths at undergraduate level for science students.
I take a first principles approach to learning and problem solving to make sure you have a strong foundation and to give you the right tools to apply to your studies far into the future.
We`ll work together to build on the knowledge that you already have, to learn to spot the clues in the questions and to apply all of this to motor through your exams with confidence when the time comes.
I`ve got lots of revision materials, practice questions and exam papers for the different exam boards and I`ll work with you on all of these in detail so that you`re well prepared.
