About Stephanie
I taught at 24 Hour Fitness for 12 years as a group exercise instructor in yoga, silver sneakers and senior fitness, core, abs and strength modalities.
I'm used to teaching all ages and levels, from beginner to advanced.
I currently teach yoga at Stronghold Climbing gym in Lincoln Heights.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Health Science, a diploma in Therapeutic Massage and Holistic Sports Therapy, 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training certification, and NASM Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise certification.
I've been fascinated my entire life with good health and how to balance exercise, healthy nutrition, work, sleep, meditation, fun, laughter and play.

Yoga is an essential part of my life that has made everything better. I can't imagine life without it and I enjoying sharing my knowledge with others so that they too may reap the countless benefits.

I have a waiver form for the student to fill in where they list and discuss with me any pre-existing conditions they have.
I ask the student what their goals are and what they hope to achieve in sessions short and long-term and what they believe they are capable of doing.
We start from there. So sessions are custom designed for each particular student.
I've taught all ages and levels, from beginner to advanced.
There are so many different types of yoga teachers. Choose a teacher who you feel comfortable with who can show you what you need to learn and how to progress while practicing safely, effectively and enjoyably!

S is a delight! Sunny side up! She is such an intuitive and experienced yoga teacher - she really reads the room and adjusts her teachings in the moment. She is also prepared with beautiful flow sequences that always balance my mind and body - and that have options for more or less challenges, depending on my needs that day.
Stephanie has been my Personal Trainer for a number of years. She got me going to the Gym regularly, I lost weight, reversed my Diabetes and even learned to enjoy the Gym to the point where I miss my sessions if I cannot make them due travel or other reasons. Who would have thought? Stephanie makes the Gym fun and teaches new and varied programmes that keep it interesting.
