About Cassie
Cassie Vincent was introduced to yoga over a decade ago by a family friend in her hometown of Nantucket, MA. Since then, she has studied in multiple disciplines of meditation, eastern medicine, and yoga, as a way to learn more about her own mind-body connection. She views yoga as a way to balance, rejuvenate, and strengthen one's own physical and mental health.
As a teacher, Cassie is dedicated to creating a safe and secure atmosphere. She provides guidance and support to her students, encouraging everyone to reach their full potentials within their individual goals. Her students note she brings boundless energy to classes, filling the space with light and kindness.
I wanted to be a yoga teacher for years, but didn't persue a training program until I found my home studio, Dou Yoga, in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Once I completed their teacher training program I began teaching at various studios in Brooklyn and corporate events in Manhattan.

Typically I like to have an thorough in-take process with new clients reviewing goals, interests, and current mobility. Based off of the starting information I will develop a series of lessons that are tailored to the client's specific information.
I have worked with students from different walks of life, focusing on a range of goals such reducing anxiety, supporting pregnancy, and assisting with a marathon training program. Each student has received one of a kind attention to provide all the resources they need to obtain their goals.
I think it's always important to try out a teacher a few times before deciding if they are a good fit with what you are looking for. Finding the right personal yoga instructor is very much akin to dating - it takes some time to learn about each other and determine compatibility.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
It's really important to have an idea of why you want the experience of a personalized yoga instructor. Providing specific information to your new instructor will greatly assist them in creating a positive experience for you.
