About Ruth
Fully Centered is a holistic wellness practice in New York City, NY, serving the East Village and Midtown areas. The practice provides personalized massage therapy—including sports massage, deep tissue, myofascial release, and ARVIGO Mayan Abdominal Therapy—along with craniosacral therapy, Pilates and yoga instruction, meditation, nutrition counseling, and alternative health coaching. Services address pain relief, stress reduction, functional movement, injury prevention, and alignment, with programs tailored to individual goals and lifestyles.
Led by practitioner Ruth Rose Rae, Fully Centered integrates bodywork, movement, and nutrition to support physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Ruth’s training includes B.Sc. degrees in Biology and Biochemistry; Certified Massage Practitioner (Hirudaya Holistic Life Center); Advanced myofascial and sports massage apprenticeship (Massage Evolution/Swedish Institute); ARVIGO Mayan Abdominal Therapy; Craniosacral I (Upledger Institute); AFPA Certified Nutrition/Wellness Counselor; 500-hour Yoga Alliance/Yogea Artflow; Pilates Mat; and First Aid/CPR.
Focus areas include women’s health (menstrual, hormonal, reproductive) and digestive health (IBS, IBD, Crohn’s, Colitis). Sessions can combine modalities to complement traditional care and support sustainable results. Fully Centered works with individuals and small groups, offering clear guidance and practical strategies to help clients restore balance, improve movement quality, and maintain long-term wellness.
