My Teaching Methods & Techniques
My approach is interactive, analytical, and student-centered. I focus on:
Concept-first learning: Clear explanations rooted in real-world biomedical examples.
Active engagement: Use of diagrams, animations, flashcards, and question-driven discussion.
Custom pacing: Lessons are tailored to fit each student’s goals, learning style, and background.
Exam and lab prep: I incorporate practice questions, quizzes, and problem-solving to build test readiness and critical thinking.
️ A Typical Lesson Plan (60 minutes)
1. Warm-up / Recap (5–10 mins)
Quick review of the last session and clarification of any confusion.
2. Deep Dive (30–35 mins)
Interactive explanation of one or more key topics (e.g., gene expression, cell signaling, protein synthesis, immunology pathways), supported by diagrams, real examples, and clinical applications.
3. Practice & Application (10–15 mins)
Solving textbook problems, AP-style questions, MCQs, or reviewing lab techniques. Emphasis on how to structure answers logically and think like a scientist.
4. Wrap-Up & Homework Guidance (5 mins)
Summary of major takeaways, optional reading or short assignment, and prep for the next session.
What Sets Me Apart
I bring deep subject mastery and real-world research experience to the table.
Mentorship-focused: I help students not just learn but grow academically and intellectually.
Scientific writing and research help: I guide students through literature review, data analysis, and paper writing.
Patient, approachable, and empowering: My sessions are structured, encouraging, and built on mutual respect.
