About Mia
I am a passionate flute tutor committed to helping students grow musically, creatively, and personally. My teaching combines mentorship, accountability, critical thinking, and creativity to ensure steady progress. I focus on developing tone, phrasing, rhythm, and breath control while nurturing expressive playing. I also teach music theory, sight-reading, and ear training to create well-rounded musicianship. Creativity is emphasized through improvisation, composition, and musical storytelling. I guide students to set goals, practice consistently, and take ownership of their learning. Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities and natural steps toward growth. I adapt lessons to each student’s pace, skill level, and personal interests. I act as a mentor, offering guidance, motivation, and constructive feedback in every session. Lessons balance technical work with creative exploration to keep students engaged. I emphasize reflection, problem-solving, and independent thinking in every lesson. My goal is to build confidence, discipline, and curiosity in all students. I also teach related subjects such as performance preparation, rhythm, and theory. I create a positive and motivating learning environment where students feel encouraged. My ultimate aim is to help students become expressive, confident, and lifelong musicians.

I teach flute with a focus on creativity, accountability, and personal expression. I believe that learning music should be fun, meaningful, and confidence-building. Each lesson encourages students to explore their musical ideas while improving technical skills. I act as a mentor who guides students thoughtfully and supports their growth.
Accountability helps students stay disciplined and consistent with practice. Lessons include tone exercises, phrasing, rhythm, and breath control. I also teach music theory, sight-reading, and listening exercises to strengthen overall musicianship. Creativity is emphasized through improvisation, composition, and expressive playing.
