About Nella
I am an experienced Microsoft Excel tutor with 6 years of teaching students from schools, colleges, and working professionals. Over this time, I have successfully guided 200–300 students to master Excel and its related tools. My teaching focuses on making learning practical, simple, and engaging. I cover data entry, formulae, functions, pivot tables, charts, macros, and advanced tools like Power Query and Power Pivot, helping students apply these skills in real-life scenarios.
I believe in a hands-on approach, using real-life examples and case studies to make concepts clear and relevant. Collaboration and active participation are key in my sessions, as I encourage students to ask questions, share ideas, and solve problems together. I am patient and adapt my teaching style to each student’s pace, ensuring everyone builds confidence and understanding.
My philosophy is that Excel is not just a tool but a skill that can simplify work, improve productivity, and open career opportunities. I also guide students in assignments, exam preparation, and professional projects. Many of my students have successfully applied their Excel skills in academics, internships, and jobs.

My teaching approach for Microsoft Excel focuses on making learning practical, interactive, and easy to understand. I cover all key areas, including data entry, formulae and functions, pivot tables, charts, data analysis, macros, and advanced tools like Power Query and Power Pivot. I also help students integrate Excel with other Microsoft Office applications, such as Word and PowerPoint, for seamless workflow and professional outputs.
I use real-life examples and case studies to demonstrate how Excel is applied in business, finance, science, and everyday tasks. This makes learning meaningful and helps students see the relevance of each feature. I emphasise hands-on practice, guiding students through exercises step by step to build confidence and mastery.
Collaboration is at the heart of my sessions. I encourage students to ask questions, share ideas, and work together on projects. This not only strengthens understanding but also develops problem-solving skills. I am patient and adapt my teaching style to each student’s pace and learning needs, ensuring no one feels left behind.
My methodology focuses on developing both technical skills and logical thinking. Students learn to analyse data, automate tasks, and create professional reports efficiently. I also guide them in assignments, exam preparation, and even job-oriented tasks to make them work-ready.
