About Emma
I am an enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate artist studying at McGill University. I am currently majoring in vocal Jazz through a concurrent education program. I have won numerous awards and have lots of experience especially in music theatre, Jazz and classical voice. Some of my experience includes, singing at Carnegie Hall in New York, participating in 50+ music theatre productions, working on set in television, completing 3 years of opera training in Detroit and winning the best voice award at a Warner Bros. competition in LA. I have also had the pleasure with working with Broadway star, Ranee Rapp from Mean Girls and Bob Garrett who trains singers and actors such as Katy Perry and Elle Fanning. I am currently training under the instruction of world renowned jazz artist, Ranee Lee. Recently, I have released my first Jazz single, and I am currently producing my first pop/jazz album. I am also in my own band with wonderful musicians and have lots of gigs/projects in the works. Thank you for taking the time to read about my musical journey :)

Let's sing! I explore various techniques and skills to help build your music knowledge, technique, confidence and portfolio. I strive for a calm and exciting class that will leave you with nothing but experience and hope for your awesome future. My lessons are for everyone. Beginners, intermediate and advanced students are all welcomed. An ideal lesson for you would be focusing on 1-2 material pieces (Or more depending on the lesson time), working on technique and depth for the piece, targeting potential trouble spots and building up stamina and working on your range with many warm up exercises I have to help with classical thinking, belting and mixing. I believe what sets me apart is my ability to adapt to any style of teaching so that you can truly grow and thrive in your style of voice. I am also there for all of my students. I know this career can be difficult to pursue but I believe that everyone is capable of following their dreams. In my class, mental health is a priority. I am so very much looking forward to meeting you!

Perfect! Taught me a lot about the system of singing and about different types. Was very reassuring and comforting and used good analogies. Also gave good feedback and was open to receiving feedback.
Perfect! Emma is a great teacher!! Emma is patient and knows what she’s doing. We sang scales and she let my daughter pick a song that she likes. My child is already looking forward to her next session with Emma!

Emma is such a gifted and talented singer! One of the best! She is so kind and easily to get a long with and will walk you through the entire lesson with ease. She is so smart and reciprocates her lessons so well you will become better in no time! You can definitely tell she has been doing this for a long time and it is her passion, I couldn’t recommend someone better for singing lessons!

Emma is a very responsible and organized individual. She works hard in order to attain her goals but also has a welcoming and compassionate personality.
