About Oliver
I am neurodiverse, and my experiences with that are one of the other motivating factors that got me to try out tutoring. I pride myself in my ability to warm up to new people and make new friends quickly, and I hope that's what I'll be able to do with my future students.
When I grow up, I want to be an aeronautic engineer, which requires some pretty complex math. I hope that by teaching other people math, I can strengthen my skills as well!
I finished up my freshman year of high school and am moving up into sophomore year this fall (2026). If my style of teaching seems helpful to you, shoot me a message, I don't bite!

Howdy! As the title suggests, I believe that if you can't get someone to want to engage with a topic, you won't be able to teach it to them. So, before we begin tutoring, I'd love to get to know you AND your interests. Using this information, I will do my best to research these topic and build lessons using them.
I am proficient in all levels of mathematics up to and including Pre-Calculus. I always excelled academically, but I did have some friends who struggled, especially with math. So, I used their special interests to help them think deeper about it, and it miraculously worked! In fact, I was so happy with the results, it got me into the tutoring business in the first place!
My lessons are for people anywhere in the K12 area, although I do work especially well with other neurodiverse people. I also work great with younger kids.
