About Tatum
I am a college-aged student who has achieved above a 4.0 cumulative GPA in high school and a 4.0 as a pre-law college student. I have a very high passion for working with kids and academics, with an overall positive attitude and bubbly personality. I am very outgoing, and love to make people feel comfortable and confident in themselves. I plan on continuing university, and then attending law school to become a family lawyer.

My lessons focus on the student rather than just using traditional learning methods. All new tutees are met with ice breakers that discuss what makes learning enjoyable and easiest for them. I take into consideration both how the student feels comfortable learning, and combine the methods used in their classrooms to help them succeed. I am very open to communication with the parents and to receive feedback and provide updates to them as well. I have been tutoring for over four years in math and English, and every single one of my students has had both increased confidence and a higher GPA due to my assistance. Not only this, but I have a strong proficiency in using virtual classrooms, as this is what I have preferred for my sessions for both ease and comfort of the students.
