About Sonia
I am a final year student studying Economics with Management in Durham University. I achieved A*A*A for my A-level and 10A* for my IGCSE examinations, including A* for maths and economics. I have several experiences in teaching over the years. I am currently a volunteer tutor, in which I give online private tutoring to students who needed extra help and guidance in their A-level economics. Additionally, I was an assistant rhythmic gymnastics coach, where I taught students from 3-6 years old the foundations of gymnastics. Hence, I have experience in teaching younger children and developed exceptional communication skills.

I held private tutoring sessions through Zoom, and the session lasted for 1 hour. In each session, I go through topics that the student wants to revise or learn, and end the session with a worksheet for the students to test their understanding of the topic. Closer to examination season, I will discuss past year questions, where I will discuss how to answer questions based on data given, and what elements to include in the essay questions. I also give advice on how to structure a good essay. This will ensure that students are familiarised with the topic, the examination questions and structure.
