About Alan
Many people gt confused with my last name as it sounds anything but the one a Spanish speaker would have, specially one that claims to have been raised in Colombia. Reality is that I have heritage from the other side of the world. Speaking about COlombia for those that dont know its the most beautiful coutnry in South America holding the #1 position for the most diverse fauna and flora. Our culture is very rich and we are extremely social, one of the reasons why you dont have to worry about akward study sessions with me.
I'm 20 years old and moved to the US 5 years ago. This has given me the opportunity to be in two systems and get the best from them to incorporate to this lessons. Right now I'm a university student majoring in finance and involved in multiple student organizations in leadership roles.

The methodology I propose when teaching 12 - 16 year olds is called progressive learning, where students will begin their journey in the place we determine their proficiency is.
Students will focus on their strengths first and their weaknesses later which will encourage them to perform and learn faster as this is a very useful psychology technique.
I am fluent in English and Spanish, also learning a 3rd language which gives me first hand knowledge on ways to captivate my students. I base my lessons on study strategies discussed by the worlds most successful personalities giving the lesson a very valid approach.
