About Patrick

I treat every class with the utmost respect and professionalism. Over the course of 11 years of teaching German professionally, a resounding comment that describes the classroom that I create is "patient". Patience for your improvement in German is essential and I place great emphasis on that in class.

About the lesson

I have taught speaking and reading skills in German to U.S. foreign affairs professionals at the Department of State for over a decade and ensure that all my students are prepared for any level of language that may need - family trips? Meeting the parents? Want to go beyond your current level? I use authentic materials, immersion style of instruction to make German logisch.

I absolutely loved my German classes with Patrick! He is an excellent teacher and is very knowledgeable in the German language and culture. He spoke primarily German during the classes, his lessons were well planned, and he made learning fun and interesting. I learned more in 2 months with him than in several years of college and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn or improve their German!
