About Alma
I am a student who had to learn English as a third language, which allowed me to have a tactical and comprehensive approach to learning languages. I have tutored numerous friends, classmates and family members all of which have performed well after receiving my help. I wouldn't say that I am naturally inclined to excel academically which has lead me to be hard working but also understanding, approachable, patient and non judgemental. My career goal is to teach and I have a nephew and two brothers in primary school all of whom I help with their reading skills and writing style so I am accustomed to working with children towards their academic improvement.

I approach me tuition by, first familiarising myself with the student's curriculum. I assess what they understand, where they struggle and why. Next, I work on strengthening their stronger areas as well as helping gain literary skill they haven't fully grasped. I set short reading, writing and grammar correction assignments after each session to see that they are retaining the information I have thought them and are making visual improvements.

Marie is a very patient, understanding & warm-hearted young woman.
