About Victoria
I hold a Fine Arts degree, and I am current Nursing student. I have volunteered with children and older adults, where I helped with activities such as making floral arrangements, painting, drawing, and knitting. While going to school, I have worked as a floral designer, and as a a salesperson at a local handcrafts store. As a mature student in the health sciences department, I am able to utilize my study skills to mentor some of my peers that may have less post-secondary experience than I do.

As a tutor, I like to get a clear idea of what material the student is covering. I like to help the student understand by starting with big concepts and making sure they can grasp the larger picture before moving on to smaller details.
I enjoy teaching with a more active approach. In health sciences subjects, I believe helping the student to draw maps, charts, and pictures help to gain a good understanding of difficult concepts. In fine arts, I like using practical techniques and exercises to help build a foundation of observational based drawing and painting practice.
