About Toby
I was a Mathematics teacher for 2 years and I have over 6 years experience in tutoring. I have never been a naturally gifted Mathematician and have always had to work hard to understand the topics I am learning, so I have a lot of empathy for students who do not connect with Mathematics.

My personal ethos of Maths education stems on cracking algebra. Many students have a good numerical understanding but struggle to apply this to algebra which then leads itself to so many Mathematical topics and branches. Lessons will be 1 hour in length comprising of a 10 minute warm up with a variety of topics.
