About Angus
I’ve always tutored since I was in year 12 at high school as it’s a really rewarding process and I feel very passionately about trying to help students feel confident in the subjects which I most enjoy. I love languages, they’re a great way to travel and meet people and am eager to support anyone who wishes to cultivate the skill.

In lessons, I like to make students feel more secure about what they’re facing in the classroom rather than “teach” a lot of material. Tutoring is all about building confidence in a subject and a student, and that’s what we will try to do. I try to break down problems into smaller manageable tasks to allow students to learn how to deal with tough questions in exam situations where they don’t immediately know the answer. I pay close attention to exam specifications and mark schemes and show students how these can be used to streamline revision and exam preparation.
