About Ben
A kind, well-mannered and thoughtful young adult who is very down-to-earth and colloquial. I believe building a bond with a student and seeing students as friends is an essential part of becoming a successful tutor and I pride myself on building a connection as well as boosting marks in a fun yet helpful way.
I have a strong aspiration to become a qualified high school teacher and tutoring will be a great stepping stone for me. I have much experience in tutoring younger grades such as years 8 and 9 as well as up to year 12. My previous students ranged from highly skilled to just learning the ropes and have all become much more confident and skilful after my assistance.

History requires an in-depth knowledge of both skills and content. I can offer lessons on both content and writing skills that will assist in boosting overall responses. As a recent graduate, I will teach in a more down-to-earth yet insightful and helpful manner as I believe a strong bond between student and teacher is paramount.
I can tutor all high school students from all levels and have adequate experience in tutoring.
Lessons can range from 30 minutes - 2 hours and I will stay and help until you understand everything.

Perfect! Ben is a really supportive and understanding Modern History teacher. He always takes the time to listen to my struggles and helps me find ways to improve. He gives helpful feedback and works with me to fix the areas I find difficult, which makes a big difference in my learning. I really appreciate how patient and encouraging he is — it makes me feel comfortable asking questions and trying to do better each lesson.
