About Kiersten
I personally have always excelled in Chemistry as a student. I took it all throughout high school, and achieved a 97 in AP Chem 12. Furthermore, I took this class with many friends which didn’t understand the class as well, and was able to help them finish with A’s and a good understanding of the course. I’ve gotten feed back from many that I have a good way of helping people understand material without making them feel bad about themselves which I believe is so important.

I strongly believe that chemistry can be a very difficult concept to wrap your head around. I like to teach through using analogies, and working through practice questions to help others feel more confident in their abilities. However, with a subject like chemistry it is important to grasp the actual concepts, so I never skip over explaining why we are doing which steps we are doing as that deeper knowledge is how one will always remember how to solve a problem!
