FIVB Level 1/Aus Level 3 Coach. Just hoping to teach people more about the sport and get more people playing

Lachlans coaching allows for an environment where you are encouraged to grow as a player. He provides feedback when necessary and observes your skills to find any issues you might have so that he can come up with ways to try and prevent them.

I know Lachlan as my volleyball coach, and I’ve been training with him for the past six months. He has a straightforward and confronting teaching style, but it’s always constructive and focused on helping you improve. I don’t see this as a bad thing—in fact, it’s one of the reasons I’ve been able to progress so quickly.

One experience that stands out is how he consistently provides clear feedback after each session, pointing out specific areas to work on and offering practical tips to get better. Thanks to his guidance, I’ve noticed huge improvements in my game in just half a year.

I highly recommend Lachlan to other Superprof members because he genuinely cares about his players’ growth and knows how to push you to reach your potential while keeping the training focused and effective.

Lachlan’s been a great coach for as long as I’ve been lucky enough to play under him, with him catalysing my growth and development through his carefully cultivated trainings and game plans.

He is very fun and casual to be around and knows when to lock-in, he can comfortably talk to his players and give valid piece of advice

I meet lachey two ish years ago when I first started volleyball and he happened to be my first coach when I first started playing he’s lessons were super easy to understand whilst also being challenging, but he wasn’t a coach that just sat back and let me continue making mistakes he was constantly helping me grow and was more then happy to takes extra time to help me with any skills I simply couldn’t get and now two years later I am now playing for p2 one of the highest ranking teams for women in WRV playing against girls who currently play for Victoria I honestly wouldn’t have made it as far as what I have without Lachlans constant support even after having moved to different coaches. Overall Lachlan is an optimistic, supportive, accountable, knowledgeable, consistent and selfless person wanting to better every single one of his students. Lachlans lessons are also not only easy to understand but the also accomodate really well to all players and there skill levels, but also give you new challenges every week to continue growing with in both skills and volleyball game play with strategies to offence and defence. I would forever recommend Lachlan as an amazing coach and person to all who would ask. I highly recommend Lachlan as someone you would be willing to send your child or even go to yourself as you wouldn’t be disappointed.

Lachlan helped me throughout the season to correct my footwork and add consistency to my playstyle. His coaching and constant feedback allowed me to grow as a player and become a better teammate.

He really values his athletes and their skills. He is also not afraid to be honest with his athletes about what their area of improvement is while providing positive and reinforcing feedback ensuring that his players don’t lose confidence and aren’t discouraged by the patience that comes with training.

I recommend Lachlan he will see your skill level and tell you what you need to improve on and what you can do in your own time to improve.

Coach Lucky/Lachlan is honestly one of the best coaches I’ve ever had. What I admire most about him is how he sees the potential in everyone, even when we don’t see it ourselves. He knows exactly how to push us to be our very best, while still giving tips that are truly useful and doable in games and training. What’s really cool is that he never stops trying to improve himself, he even goes to conferences and trainings, sometimes even overseas, just to bring back new ideas for us. From drills to training, to body conditioning and even one on one recommendations. You can really tell he cares about the team and wants us to grow.

I feel lucky to be coached by him, he makes volleyball fun, motivating, and something I look forward to every time.
