About Amy
B.A., M.A. - I am Amy Frerichs, a fluent french Instructor AND English Instructor-All Levels! San Diego based at USD Campus or online. Studied in France at French University. Instructed French on all levels. Instructed English all levels and disciplines, taught multiple disciplines - humanities, creative writing, literature, philosphy, theology, world literature and journalism. Taught young children through college students as assistant professor, instructor, tutor and mentor to individuals and groups. Worked as instructor 7 years and journalist for 15 years. Earned both B.A.-French/English and M.A.- Journalism & Mass Media via academic scholarships. Love teaching!! Students learn so much and enjoy it under my instruction.

My methodology includes outlined, material coursework. My lesson plans are easy to understand, follow and achieve by all students with individual/personal support. For foreign language, I use immersion techniques and focus on vocabulary, structure, pronunciation building to proficiency. For English and Journalism Course Levels, I use American standard methods with detail to basics and development of critical thinking skills to increase reading composition, comprehension, writing, and articulate speaking. I want every student to learn and succeed!
