WHAT SETS ME APART
What sets me apart as a tutor is the unique blend of my academic, professional, and performance experience. I hold an M.A. in Popular Music, and as an active performing artist with over three years of teaching experience, I have had the privilege of touring and singing with Cirque du Soleil. MY APPROACH AS A TUTOR
As a tutor, my first priority is always to understand what brings you to me. I want to know who you are, where you are now and what you want to achieve in your musical journey. We will identify your superpowers—your natural talents and existing strengths—and work together to assess what else is needed to achieve the goals we have set.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN A TYPICAL LESSON
Each lesson will depend on where you are at, what we are working on and what approach you best respond to. Typical tools I like to use are -vocal technique to allow you to execute singing with more ease, -anatomy to provide you with visual context of how your vocal instrument works, -performance coaching to support you in finding your authentic voice, -meditation practices to help you connect to what you want to express, and -songwriting to refine your storytelling and its impact.
Whether you are a beginner or at an advanced level, I meet you where you are.
And together, we will build a plan to reach your full potential!
