About Ashleigh
I have my bachelor's degree in biochemistry, minors in both nutrition and sociology, as well as certified on the social dimensions of health and healthcare. Former curriculum designer, TA, tutor, and grader for my university.
Throughout my undergrad, I was invited to research novel chemotherapies for cancer treatments, electrochemical synthesis of new chemical sunscreens, and novel applications of online educational techniques. While I worked as a curriculum designer, I remodeled the general chemistry coursework for my university, including: practical exercises, homework assignments, test and quiz questions. Additionally, I have tutored several people throughout their associate and undergraduate degrees in subjects ranging from computer science to english.
I have a thorough understanding of what key concepts are necessary for core subjects in science and math. I like to take an incremental approach that does not rush you beyond what you are comfortable with. Each step of the learning process should feel like a healthy challenge, not like an unobtainable goal.
