Former Dominican Nun with 27 years of teaching experience in Elementary in all subjects.

It’s so hard to find an educator who genuinely loves her students like her own, but Teacher Perla is truly one of a kind! She is exceptionally kind, sweet, and patient. What I appreciate most is how easy and comfortable she makes learning. She doesn't just teach, she truly cares. I wholehearted recommend Teacher Perla to any parent looking for a wonderful teacher. Thank you so much, Teacher Perla, for everything! ️

Teacher Perla has been a guiding light for my children throughout their educational journey from Kindergarten all the way through Grade 12. She’s an exceptional educator and incredibly patient, truly dedicated to bringing out the best in every student. Her warm, approachable nature puts children at ease right away, and she easily earns their trust.
My own eldest son used to be very reserved and sensitive; he didn’t trust people easily. But under Teacher Perla’s gentle guidance, he gradually began to blossom. Though he remains quiet by nature, he has grown tremendously learning to connect and build friendships with his peers, a confidence that continues to grow with him today as he becomes a fine young man.

Dearest Ma’am Perla,
I hope my message finds you well.
Please allow me to write you a personal note rather than a general recommendation.
We, as parents of Ysabella, would like to express our deepest gratitude for the incredible care and dedication you’ve shown to our daughter. It is really rare to find a teacher who invests her heart so deeply into every student, treating them with the same love and patience a parent would. Thank you for your gentle guidance, your unwavering support, for every bit of knowledge you have imparted, and for being an inspiring role model. Your beauty inside and out truly shines through everything you do. Also, thank you so much for being my daughter’s best English tutor (it really helps her to become more fluent and spontaneous, now a UP student), whenever I couldn’t because of my busy schedule. You’ve always been there whenever your students need your presence. Thank you so much. We really love and salute you! Hope to see you soon again.
Love and prayers,
Mommy Cris and Daddy Win
