About David
I have a BS in mechanical engineering and 15 years work experience mainly in the defense industry. I worked on multi-million dollar contracts for the US Navy. It was interesting work but I found that my passion lies in teaching! For the last 10 years I have been teaching and tutoring students like you! I am currently an online teacher for Fusion Global Academy. I teach students around the globe math, science, and engineering. I bring a unique and diverse skill set and real-world experience. If you have the common question 'Why do I have to learn this?', I can definitely answer it!

If you suffer from math anxiety and/or poor grades in math I can turn your experience 180 degrees (math lol) in a few sessions. It is not you. It's our one size fits all education system! If you are not the 'left-sided brain' type and the patterns and codes of math don't come naturally then you need my 'right-sided brain' approach! We will discuss math using the proper vocabulary. Talking through the problems together will enable you to see the problems in a new light and make them more enjoyable. You can classify problems and attach verbiage to the solution path. Math is a language after all!! Your recall will drastically improve as mathematics can become a story that you can remember. I have developed and tested this method for over a decade and it works! Please give it a try and it will change how you see math problems.
