About Alexis
I am a certified grade 5-12 history/social studies teacher. I have over five years of experience as a classroom teacher and even more (over 12 years) of working with children in academic and enrichment settings. I am a firm advocate for structuring lessons and content in a format that suits the learners needs while also exposing students to more traditionally accepted ways of learning, so they are properly equipped in academic settings beyond their interaction with me. I welcome and encourage inquiry and questions to be sure no student is left behind or lost.
