About Suffyan
I achieved Grade 9 in GCSE Maths, A* in A-Level Maths, and A* in A-Level Further Maths. I now tutor GCSE Maths online across all exam boards, helping students build genuine understanding rather than just memorising methods.
My lessons follow a clear structure: topic explanation, worked examples with exam-style thinking, then independent practice with guided hints. This builds both understanding and exam technique, which is what actually moves grades.

Each lesson follows a consistent structure: I introduce the topic clearly, work through exam-style examples step by step, then move to independent practice questions where I guide with hints rather than just giving answers. This builds genuine understanding rather than surface-level memorisation, which is what actually holds up under exam pressure.
I cover all exam boards and tailor each session to where the student currently is, rather than following a one-size-fits-all plan. Timings are flexible, and lessons are online.
