About Dylan
As a soloist, Dylan specializes in contemporary music performance working with both the valved and natural horns.
Recently, Dylan has worked with the Crane Opera Ensemble as a pit horn for their production of Gian Carlo Menotti’s opera “The Medium,” on a double bill with Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht’s “Mahagonny Songspiel.” He also worked with the Phoenix Drama Club as a pit horn for their production of "Curtains!"
Dylan has previously worked with the Northern Symphonic Winds, Crane Brass Ensemble, Crane Symphony Orchestra Crane Wind Ensemble, and Crane Concert and Symphonic Bands, featuring on both Horn and Wagner Tuba.

My horn lessons place great emphasis on the development of a pedagogy of musicality through the use of etudes, method studies, and repertoire. I find little more exciting than the Horn player who can hone their emotions and inner culture to become a part of their performing art. I also encourage students to go beyond the normal boundaries of Horn repertoire, finding works that speak to them while also developing their technique and musicianship as a performer!
