About Alexander
My name is Alexander, I am 24 years old and have a background as both a musician and a teacher. I studied at Fridhems Folkhögskola and in recent years have combined work with an active freelance career as a jazz musician. After my time at Fridhem I lived for a period in New York, where I had the opportunity to study under some of jazz's greatest contemporary masters, such as Ben Wolfe and David Wong.

I offer lessons in double bass and electric bass for both beginners and more experienced players, of all ages. My teaching is personal and tailored to what you want to achieve. Together we set goals and create a plan for your development. And of course – we have fun along the way! Whether we work on technique, theory, ear, improvisation or music reading, we will keep it both educational and inspiring.
Using good materials and my own experience, we can explore everything from classical to pop, rock, funk and jazz. I adapt the lessons to the music you love, so you really feel motivated and engaged.
I strive to make every lesson positive and fun, so that you can grow and develop as a musician in a way that suits you!
